Short Film
My short film is inspired by the quiet poetry of ordinary life—the fleeting moments, subtle emotions, and unnoticed beauty in the mundane. Through a lens tinted with nostalgia, I want to weave together fragments of daily existence, infusing them with a retro aesthetic that evokes warmth and longing. The film will feel like a faded photograph or a half-remembered dream, where the past lingers in the present, and the simplest moments carry hidden depth.

Raub is a history town in Pahang, Malaysia. The name comes from the Malay word "Raub," meaning "to dig, named after the miners who dug for gold here. In the late 19th century, Raub was one of Malaysia's main gold mining areas, attracting many miners and immigrants.Compared to its past glory, Raub is now a place of quiet and peace.
While filming, I noticed many old shops being renovated, with memories gradually fading. l asked myself whether I want Raub to prosper or stay as it is. Perhaps I'm selfish, wanting to preserve my childhood memories.
However, know it's impossible to keep things the same, so I'l preserve these memories through my lens. There are still many historic buildings, sites, and people in Raub that I haven't documented. I aim to capture these historical moments with a series through my lens, sharing them with the world.

What do college students do when they go home for the holidays? Of course, it's all about eating and sleeping, day after day! " You're treating this place like a hotel, doing nothing at all." my mom's words hit me like a wake-up call.
A thought crossed my mind - I want to document this lazy and undisciplined version of myself during the holiday break as a reminder and a warning to myself.

Apart from ideals, kindness is the virtue I aspire to embody. Even if I'm taken advantage of or looked down upon, I believe that people who are kindness won't have too bad of luck, though they might occasionally feel down.

Told from the perspective of a curious cat, this video captures the quiet anticipation of a young woman as she prepares for her boyfriend's return home.
As the cat watches from various angles, we see the owner hurriedly cleaning, organizing, and getting ready to welcome him back. Through the cat's eyes, we witness moments of care, love, and chaos in the home.
Finally, the boyfriend arrives-and the couple lovingly lifts the cat together, revealing its face for the first time.
